The following movement patterns have been developed following Gary Ward’s Anatomy-in-Motion, Flow Motion Model®
This is a great exercise to get your shoulder blades (Scapula) doing something!!
So many people lack movement here and the knock-on effect is that you will have a stiff ribcage and back. That means you will probably struggle to breathe deeply and also the consequences can mean neck pain and headaches among the regular back issues people get.
- Take you time and feel the movements
- Meditative pace
- let your body flow with it BUT don’t use your body to create the movement
- think of your thumbs rotating around
- arms move in opposite directions
